I’ve been meaning to share this fabric for a few weeks now and I am finally getting to it. I’m a little behind on this one.
For Valentine’s Day, I received these pretty packages in the mail from my mom.
They came a few days before Valentine’s Day but I patiently waited to open them, even though I suspected one package had fabric in it. That’s right. I don’t need flowers and chocolates for Valentine’s Day; I’ll take fabric. And fabric it was! My mom knows me well.
It is Studio E’s River Mist collection. Don’t you like that name?
I’m such a blue person and these fabrics are so pretty. I think these two are my favorite:
There is one fat quarter in there that is not part of the collection. It is that beige colored fabric and is a Robert Kaufman piece. Even though it’s not part of the collection I think it blends in well with the other pieces.
Since I’m in the process of working on a blue quilt right now, I think I’m going to put these fat quarters away for a while and save them for a later date. In the meantime I can be thinking about how I will use them. Happy Sunday!
