The holiday season is upon us, and that means it is time for my annual holiday wish list! I started doing this a couple of years ago and have kept it up, because it’s fun to put together a few items that I’m wishing for every Christmas. In doing so, I hope that you might see something to add to your own list or get an idea for the friends and family you are buying for.
So with that, here’s what I’m wishing for this holiday season. As always, I included quilting and non-quilting items.
A new set of plush bath towels, to keep warm after a long, relaxing soak in the tub.
And as long as we’re talking about hot soaks in the bathtub, a few drops of the Beautifying Composition Oil from Aveda. This will do the trick to keep my skin super soft.
You can never have enough thread, and this set of 26 spools has enough colors to match most quilting projects.
A triangle quilting ruler, to help get the fabric cutting job done just a little bit faster. Plus, triangle quilts will always be some of my faves.
Warm, fuzzy boots to slosh around the snowy streets of New York. If the snow must come, then at least I can look stylish walking in it.
The book Feed Sacks: The Colourful History of a Frugal Fabric, because I have long been obsessed with feed sack fabric and will one day make a feed sack quilt.
Some Minted Rose Lip Balm, so I can protect my lips from the cold, winter weather.
This set of pretty file folders from Rifle Paper Co. I have so many loose quilt sketches lying around, and they aren’t going to organize themselves!
One of these Liberty of London fabric bundles. Liberty of London fabric is so beautiful but oh so pricey, so it can only be bought on a special occasion like Christmas.
And that wraps up my list for 2016! What’s on your wish list this year?
